293) Re-watch old Disney films 5 Dec 2012

To anyone reading our blog on a semi-regular basis, we’d like to apologize for the lack of posts these past few weeks. John has been off traveling around Europe; I can assure you he’s documenting new and exciting to-do’s along the way, which I’m sure he’ll post shortly. As for me, I’ve been taking some much needed time to breathe and think and plan and think and plan and listen to audio books while thinking and planning. It’s amazing the things you can do while listening to an audio book (like working out your core while conceptualizing your next art project). Also, it’s really nice to have some alone time.

Before John left we completed a whack of to-do’s on our list that we’re still scrambling to post up during this time of reflection and realignment. I can’t believe that almost a year has gone by. I’m almost saddened by how quickly time has gone. It seems the older I get, the faster it goes. I know there’s a scientific explanation for this? Something about our neurological capacity to retrieve memories as we get older? I don’t know? If John were here he’d know. In any case, it leaves me feeling incredibly nostalgic and slightly melancholy.

Speaking of nostalgia, we forgot to post our Disney to-do!

I’ve been watching Disney animated movies too, but I have started from the beginning.

    Snow White – Excellent.
    Pinocchio – Ehhhhh…
    Fantasia – …interesting.

Looking forward to Dumbo and Bambi, which from what I remember are both great movies.
