Galakoburiko is a traditional Greek desert prepared with egg custard and phyllo, baked until crispy, and then coated with syrup. We first saw these pastries on a road trip we took around Greece a few years back. Ever since then, we’ve been itching to try some here in Toronto. Turns out, these guys do the job. And they deliver. And they make awesome Galaktoburikos. This one was light, eggy and subtlety sweet, with a dash of cinnamon that gave it that extra kick.
