171) Juggle with three balls 5 Jul 2012

Overall, I’d say I put in a good 5 hours of practicing how to jungle three balls in the air. Which, I think, is a sizeable amount of time to learn something as inconsequential as juggling. Throughout the whole process I kept thinking to myself, I should be learning French or how to play the violin or…or….which I know is totally not conducive to the learning process or morale.

But yesterday, finally, I got it. I got it and it felt good. It got me thinking… maybe we should all learn how to juggle, or learn a similar inconsequential thing. A thing with no immediate rewards or potential gains. A thing to learn just for fun. Just because. Just for the sake of doing something other than what we normally do.
